Judges

I hope it’s not a sin to skip a bunch of days in your Bible reading plan.

I kept “not” reading Judges. I got so far behind. I finally decided I either need to catch up or give up. I tried catching up and I remembered why I had such a hard time reading Judges. It’s violent & awful. I mean, I get it that we need to read about humankind’s violence and horrible sinfulness too. This just is not the right time for me to do that.

I will come back to it some other time, God willing.

I have to trust that God will understand. He knows what’s in my heart.
