This has been a rough week for me.
2 of my relatives passed away, one quite unexpectedly.
Another is seriously ill, struggling with rapidly progressing vascular dementia.
Another just received a life-threatening cancer diagnosis.
And another is chronically depressed and struggling with hopelessness.
I know that everything is part of God’s plan, the totality of which is more than I can comprehend.
But God … dear Heavenly Father … if it be Your will, please don’t take any more of the people with whom I am close in this world just yet. Help me to rejoice in Your glory and to trust in Your love. But, if it be Your will, please leave some of my family and friends here on Earth just a little bit longer.
I love You God. Your will be done. Always.
