God, sometimes I feel so tired of living in a troubled world. I long to be with You in Your heavenly Kingdom where sickness and sin and evil and greed don’t lurk on every path.
But I know that Your Kingdom is not an escape hatch, a way to avoid the work that You created me to do on earth.
God, help me to be Your first responder today – one who runs willingly toward danger in order to help others rather than one who runs away from it to try to save myself.
In Jesus name I pray,
