This hauntingly beautiful song was written by Rabbi Menachem Creditor, based on the Hebrew text of the first two verses of Psalm 89. He wrote it for his daughter who was born right after the attack on the World Trade Center on September, 11, 2001, as a call to action. The only way to overcome hate and violence is with God’s love.
