Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Good Morning God! Thank You for the gift of this day that You have made. Please help me to be gentle today, a quality that does not come easily for me. Allow me to know Your presence as I go through this day and carry out Your work. Let me glorify You throughout this day, and help me turn to You with my needs. I pray that I am able to live by Your ways and to shun the anxiety of worldly distractions. I long to be near You and to glorify You in all I do. Guide me today to do this in a gentle loving way worthy of You. In Jesus name I pray.
