Last night I started the 7-day Bible study I mentioned in yesterday’s blog.
I don’t know how to say this other than that I am once again totally blown away. Somehow this is exactly the missing piece for which I have been yearning, to fill what felt like a hole in my spiritual life.
I guess it isn’t just “somehow” – I think the more accurate description is that I have been praying for some very specific guidance over the past 12 days, and God has led me to these verses as the answer to my prayers.
God is totally amazing and 100% awesome! He knew exactly what I needed and He provided (Matthew 7:7-8). I am still totally blown away that this stuff actually happens just like the Bible says it will.
So here are the Bible verses I was directed to today, and this is just day #1 of 7:
- 1 Peter 3:15
- Ephesians 4:15
- Matthew 22:35-38
- Romans 12:2
- Acts 22:1
- John 17:17
- 2 Timothy 2:15
- Acts 17:23-25
I spent hours reading not only these verses, but for each, the whole chapter surrounding it. At the end I was not tired, but supernaturally energized anew with what I have previously described as feeling like a torrent of God-power.
I was hungry and He brought me sustenance and I was satisfied. (Psalm 107:9)
I can feel the love of God so much. This is a kind of love I have never known before. I have no words for it. But it is so, so real. And so mind-blowing.
